Price of LPG cylinders moves up

Belmopan- The Supplies Control Unit (SCU) in the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Commerce last week has announced an increase in the controlled price for the sale of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

The prices established for imported LPG are based on the mixtures of 70:30 (Propane: Butane) only as per requirement of the Belize National Standard Specification for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) BZS 21:2012.

Background information on the establishment of the newer higher prices was not provided.
